Louisiana State University Interfraternity Council
IFC at LSU
The Interfraternity Council (IFC) is the governing body of 18 fraternities at Louisiana State University. IFC provides leadership and oversight for the fraternity community, establishing standards and guidelines for chapter operations, activities, and member development. The IFC Executive Board oversees community-wide programs and events, supports the growth and development of the fraternity community, and manages the formal recruitment process.
The purpose of the council is to promote unity and collaboration among its member chapters, serve as a liaison between the LSU fraternity community and the University, and ensure that all council and University policies, rules, and regulations are upheld. Through leadership, programming, philanthropy, and community initiatives, IFC works to strengthen the fraternity experience and foster a positive, engaged, and connected Greek community at LSU.
